What this site is, and is not
Everything here describes the work we do and the way we do it. Nothing on this site is a binding offer, a fixed price, or a contract. Photographs show our own completed jobs unless a caption says otherwise. Product renderings supplied by manufacturers are marked as such and are not photographs of our work.
Estimates and quotes
On-site estimates are free and there is no trip fee. What you get from the visit is an itemised written quote for your actual yard.
That written quote is the document that matters. Once you sign it, the number is locked: the number you sign is the number you pay. It changes only if you ask for something different, and then only through a written change order that you approve before we build it. Quotes are held open for the period stated on the quote itself; after that, material pricing may have moved.
Scheduling, weather, and ground
Your quote includes a start window and we hold it. Utah weather sometimes does not cooperate: deeply frozen or saturated ground can push a dig. If that happens we will tell you as soon as we know, rather than building on ground that will not hold.
What we need from you
Three things, and they are genuinely your side of the job.
Property lines. You confirm where your boundary runs. If there is any doubt, a survey settles it before we set posts. We build to the line you give us.
Private utilities. We call Blue Stakes of Utah (811) for public utility locates before we dig, as required. Blue Stakes does not mark private lines. Sprinkler systems, invisible pet fence wire, landscape lighting, gas lines to a fire pit or grill, and anything else you or a previous owner installed are yours to point out before we start.
Permits and HOA approval. Where a permit or an HOA approval is required, that application is yours. We will supply the drawings, heights, and material specifications you need for it.
Payment
Half down to start, and the balance when the job is finished and you are happy with it. Before final payment we walk the finished line with you against one standard: plumb, level, square, and the site cleaned up. If something is off, we fix it first.
Guarantee and warranties
Our workmanship guarantee is described in your written quote, and it is the version that governs your job. Materials carry whatever warranty their manufacturer offers, and we pass those through to you along with the product documentation.
Fences are outdoor structures in a freeze-thaw climate. Normal weathering, cedar's colour change, ground movement, storm and impact damage, and damage from work done by someone else are not workmanship defects.
Cancelling
Tell us before materials are ordered and there is nothing to settle. Once custom material has been ordered or fabricated, those costs are real and we will show them to you itemised rather than applying a blanket fee.

The photographs, text, and marks on this site belong to Trusted Fence Company. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking.
Accuracy
We keep this site current and correct, but code requirements, HOA rules, and material pricing all change. Nothing here replaces confirming the specifics for your property, which is part of what the free estimate is for.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, our liability connected to this website is limited to what you paid us. This does not limit anything that cannot legally be limited, and it does not affect the guarantee on work we have actually performed for you, which is governed by your written quote.
Governing law
Utah law governs these terms, and any dispute belongs in the state courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. The terms in force when you signed your quote are the ones that apply to your job.
